Tenuta Villanova

Founded in 1499, Tenuta Villanova is one of the oldest wineyards in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Pasteur was one of the important guests who also visited this place.

The property extends for almost 5000 acres, from the highest sides of the Isonzo river to the hills of the Collio area, thus enabling the production of fine wines and distillates.

Located in a beautiful area, hardened by the alpines' winds and by the breezes of the Adriatic Sea, this rustic venue has a natural microclimate perfect for making wines that can be tasted during personalised events. A few steps from the winery, a little historical distillery can be visited, while the barn from the XVII century -finely restored in the years-, the garden and the huge wineyards are the perfect setting for wedding and meetings.
