A breathtaking view on the mountains sprinkled by the very first snowfalls, the golden hour of an afternoon in December and the warm crackling of a fireplace: the perfect recipe of the winter wedding we created for Andrea and Jessica.

There are different ways to interpret wintertime: for instance, using a cold palette, made of dark greens and optical whites (the one we had for Clara and Stefano for their wedding in the snow)...or using the warmer shades of white, the taupe, the wood and a tiny bit of gold.
For Andrea and Jessica, a lively and contemporary couple, we started from a warm concept to develop an inspiration drove by the typical hygge minimalism but in a sweeter form, typical of the Christmas atmosphere.

Winter wedding: the venue
To host the wedding of Andrea and Jessica, we looked for a venue where the presence of wood was prominent.
Was this mission accomplished? 🙂

Winter wedding: mise en place
Clean linees, neutral colors and...wool! For the tablescape of Andrea and Jessica's winter wedding we couldn't help using blankets instead of runners to warming up a very minimalistic mise en place.

What about centerpieces? Like miniature model of snowy forests, made of whitened pinewood branches, honesty, skeleton leaves, moss and soft cotton flowers...

Winter wedding - the stationery
For Andrea and Jessica's stationery we played with different textures and white shades, enriched by taupe details, modern and elegant.

On the table, menus and placeholder have been made with Millerighe paper, so to match the texture of the plates.

The hidden detail? The flower chosen to wish good luck to the newlyweds, a snowdrop...

Winter wedding: dessert table
Watchword: simplicity!
We wanted this dessert table to smell like home...and Christmas too!

Could we say no to meringues?

Neither the host could resist...!
