Organizing a destination wedding in Italy means immersing yourself in a timeless experience filled with beauty, culture, and tailor-made details. For Franziska and Julian, choosing a Venetian villa in the heart of Northern Italy turned their dream into reality: two days of celebrations, from the Dolce Vita allure to the timeless elegance of the Old Money style.

Planning an Unforgettable Wedding Weekend

The goal of the planning was to create two distinct yet harmonious moments. On the first day, a welcome pizza party in perfect Italian style, inspired by the warm and lively atmosphere of La Dolce Vita, welcomed guests in an informal yet carefully curated setting. The retro aesthetic, with long tables illuminated by strings of lights, checkered tablecloths, and signature cocktails, immediately created a festive and convivial atmosphere.

The following day, the Old Money-style wedding transported guests into a universe of timeless elegance: neutral tones and luxurious materials, refined floral arrangements, and a classic table setting with porcelain and crystal details. The entire event was designed to convey a sense of warmth and authenticity, allowing the couple and their loved ones to cherish every moment.

A Destination Wedding in Italy That Celebrates Different Cultures

Franziska and Julian wanted their wedding to be a true reflection of their origins and the cultures that unite them: Austria, Africa, and Italy. This was reflected in choices that honored each tradition with a sophisticated and natural touch.

The wedding weekend menu was a sensory journey through the three countries: pizza and spritz for the welcome evening, gourmet dishes with Austrian and African influences for the wedding dinner. The ceremony was simultaneously translated into two languages, creating an inclusive and emotional experience for all guests.

But it wasn’t just about food and language—the music played a fundamental role, alternating between classical performances and more engaging acts, culminating in a special moment dedicated to traditional African dances before the cake cutting.

Perfect Timing to Savor Every Moment

To ensure that the couple could fully enjoy their special day, we created a customized timeline, different from the classic wedding schedule:

  • Welcome moment in traditional attire before getting ready, an intimate gathering with close guests.
  • A longer ceremony, marked by readings and meaningful moments for the couple.
  • A shorter aperitif to allow more time for a relaxed seated dinner, with heartfelt speeches and breaks to enjoy the company.
  • Traditional dances before the cake cutting, honoring the groom’s African heritage and making the moment even more engaging.
  • A lively and extended party, with no strict schedules, closing the night with energy and fun.

An unforgettable Destination Wedding in Italy

Franziska and Julian experienced a wedding that fully reflected them: elegant, authentic, and emotional. The attention to every detail allowed them to create a perfect destination wedding in Italy, where aesthetics and meaning intertwined in perfect harmony.
